With Teamly, you can quickly and easily share a link to a file with your colleagues or stakeholders.

In the left side panel, locate and click on the "Files" tab.

Click on "Screen Captures."

Select “Videos.”

Hover over the file and click on "Share file."

Provide a name and description for the file.

Toggle "Instant Summaries" on to get a summary of your video.

Click on "Share" to view the summary which can be shared in emails or a message to provide additional context.

Toggle "Generated Chapters" on to generate chapters for the recording.

Click on "Preview" to view the generated chapters which are generated based on the context of the video transcript.

When previewing the “Generated chapters,” hover over a chapter and click the pencil icon to make updates.

By default, video files are set to public.

When you turn on the “Private file” toggle, your video will not be available to other users, and you won’t be able to configure any additional sharing settings.

⚠️ When a file is set to private, users attempting to access the file link will be shown the following message.

When the "Private file" toggle is turned off, you can configure additional sharing options.

The first option is to enable "Allow comments," which can be set for anyone with the link or restricted to users who are logged into Teamly.

The second option is "Allow download video," which can be configured for anyone with the link or restricted to users who are logged into Teamly.

The last option is "Protected by password," which restricts access to individuals who have the designated password.

If a screen capture video file is password-protected, users will need to enter the password to unlock it, as shown below.

Click "Save settings" to preserve the configured settings.

Click "Copy link" to easily share the file with others.

Files can also be shared directly to social media platforms through the "Social" tab, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Gmail.

Also, navigate to the "Embed code" tab to copy the embed code if required.
