Adding borders can help frame your content, make it stand out, or give it a polished, professional look. Teamly’s border options allow you to customize the color, width, and style to suit your video’s aesthetic.

In the video editor, click on the border tool, then use the on-screen selection box to place your border where you want it.

The border will display on screen and in the timeline view.

Use the color pallet to choose the border's color.

The selected color will be outlined in white.

Click on the "+" icon to add a color to your favorites.

To remove a color from your favorites hover over it and click on the "X" icon.

Adjust the size.

Add a drop shadow if needed.

Use the ellipsis on either side to extend or reduce its duration. Click and drag the border segment within the timeline to reposition it.

Right click on the border segment in the timeline to copy, cut and delete it. The keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + V can be used to paste a copy or cut segment.

Alternatively, use the tools right above the timeline to cut, copy, paste and delete it.

Remember to click “Save” once you’ve finished making changes.
