Disabling Hardware Acceleration

Modified on Mon, Feb 17 at 10:06 AM

Hardware acceleration can sometimes cause recording issues, such as audio glitches, video lag, or unexpected errors. If you’re experiencing problems, disabling hardware acceleration may help.

Right-click on the "Teamly icon" in your device menu and navigate to "Troubleshooting."

⚠️  Windows users can find the Teamly app icon in the taskbar usually located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Click on "Disable Hardware Acceleration and restart." Disabling will force the video recorder to use software acceleration instead, which may result in lower quality but can help in cases where hardware acceleration encounters compatibility issues.

Depending on the issue, review your recorded video or try a new recording to see if the issue persists. If it does, please reach out to our customer experience team for further assistance.
